Royal Letters Patent to Richard Parker

English, 1516. Document granting an annuity to a buttery servant and signed (near the top) by Henry VIII. Measures 14x5.5 inches. The text is very interesting. The topmost section is written in English and appears to ask for the annuity. The second part, below Henry's signature, appears to be in Latin and probably grants the annuity. Thee is a third section of writing, a single line below the Latin section, that appears to be an addition in another hand. All text is written in a compenent bastarda hand, very English.
